Dr. Gallagher wants the Zion/Northpoint community to know that at midnight this morning Sister Libby Gomes passed from this life into the arms of Jesus. Her home-going was a peaceful transport to her eternal reward.

Yesterday morning Sis. Libby fell at her Rhode Island home and required transport to a hospital where she was attended for her final hours.

The Lord even arranged for her to be cared for by a nurse who graduated from Zion!

How happy she must have been to tell the stories of Zion one more time.

The Lord certainly arranged these circumstances to fulfill her wish to not be placed in long-term nursing care. Dr. Gallagher was happy to be able to help to assist in this desire and to support her in the final stages of this life.

This woman of God lived 94 years in service of her Savior, many of those years in partnership with the vision of Zion and its founder Christine Gibson.

She will be missed by all those who knew her and were touched by her guiding hand.
