President David Arnett is pleased to announce that Dr. Mark Wootton has joined the faculty of Northpoint Bible College and Graduate School at the rank of Full Professor. In addition to teaching Church Ministries courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels, he will serve on the Academic Affairs Committee as the Department Chair for the Pastoral Leadership programs.

Dr. Wootton has an extensive background in pastoral ministry as a church planter, lead pastor, and presbyter. He has pastored in Ohio, Arizona, Missouri, and the Potomac Ministry Network. He has served on district committees for youth ministries, men’s ministries, Christian education, and missions. He has been a consultant to numerous churches.

Academically, Dr. Wootton has taught at Bible Colleges, Christian Universities, and District Schools of Ministry. His Doctorate of Ministry in Pentecostal Leadership is from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. His Master’s degree is from Fuller Theological Seminary and his undergraduate degree is from Central Bible College. In addition to being a professor, Dr. Wootton has served in several administrative roles for various colleges. He is the author of “The Complete Pentecostal: More Than Just Tongues.”

Dr. Wootton is married to Joy, and they have four children and eleven grandchildren.
