WELCOME WEEK

We know how to kickstart a semester! This week starts with all freshmen moving into the dorms, finalizing registration, and engaging in student activities. On Sunday, the whole campus comes together for a Freshman Worship Service where parents and students commit themselves to God afresh for the road ahead. The service is followed by a school sponsored lunch for the whole family. This week is full of Student Council sponsored events like miniature golf, volleyball, cookouts, pizza, and ice cream trips. Don’t forget to hit all the local coffee shops!

IN THE CLASSROOM

Come prepared! Bring your notebook, iPad, or other devices and get ready to learn. Come to class early to get the perfect seat and establish yourself as a student. It’s important to start off right, so take notes, ask questions, and compare your notes with others afterwards to ensure you are taking good notes. Let the Holy Spirit equip your mind and transform you in every class you take at Northpoint.

CLASS PRAYERS

Once a month each class meets together with their assigned class advisor to discuss class business, school events, have fellowship, and pray one for another. There is a devotional word given, worship, and prayer. Class Prayers is a beautiful example of Northpoint’s community carrying each others burdens.  During your first year, these meetings will be a big source of bonding and connecting with your classmates!
