Connecting students to the local  Church & The World

Students are given opportunities to volunteer in local churches and area ministries in a variety of ways ranging from kids ministry to worship music to outreach and more!  

Northpoint offers a variety of teams through which a student can serve and grow in their ministry gifting. Opportunities include musical worship, street evangelism, homeless outreach, preaching, prayer, and creative arts.

In the spring and summer, students are encouraged to go, preach the Gospel, and partner in God’s mission in cross-cultural contexts around the world. We help students plan, raise funds, and go in such a way that they share the love of Christ and have the experience of a lifetime.  

Prior to graduating, each student must complete a full-time internship with a church or non-profit ministry organization between their junior and senior year. Our internships are designed to give real-life, hands-on ministry experience that will prepare the student for a lifetime of excellent Pentecostal ministry.

Immediately upon graduating, Northpoint helps place the student in a ministry context that is suitable to their DNA and skillset and gets them started on their journey of vocational ministry.

At the start of each fall semester, we invite area pastors to come and represent their churches on campus and give students opportunity to connect and engage in local ministry opportunities. To register for this year’s church expo, click here.

Every Monday through Thursday, Northpoint students, faculty, and staff gather for a corporate worship service at Northpoint’s Chapel.

Pastors and community members alike are welcome to join us for worship. Chapel services begin at 11am. Guests must first check in at our security office before entering the chapel. Click here to let us know you’re coming!  

Serve Teams available to travel during the school year include Northpoint Worship, Northpoint Creatives (drama, spoken word, illustrative preaching), and Northpoint Preaching.
