Single students (including divorced and separated students) are required to live on-campus unless living at home with their mother and/or father or they have an established residence in the area. All single students must submit a letter of request explaining proposed living arrangements and the reason for requesting commuting status. Permission to commute may be granted only by the Academic Dean. Married students are allowed to commute to the College without any special permission required. This policy is in place because Northpoint believes that the education that is offered is not merely in the classroom but is also gained through daily interaction with students, staff and faculty in all campus activities. As a ministry training center, Northpoint seeks to prepare the whole person, academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially for Kingdom ministry.
